Code of Conduct
It is the duty and responsibility of the retreat members and organizers to provide a safe retreat experience, including the removal of any persons unable to comply with this Code of Conduct. Please be respectful of the retreat attendees, volunteers and facility staff at all times. The following actions or behaviors are unacceptable:
– Alcohol, drugs or paraphernalia on the premises.
– Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
– Threats or acts of violence, or carrying weapons of any kind.
– Malicious and hurtful gossip or name-calling.
– Stealing or other illegal activities.
– Viewing pornography on phones, computers or magazines.
– Nudity, sexual activity, sexually aggressive behavior, general unwanted/unwelcomed touching or sexual harassment.
– Gambling or betting.
– Creating an environment that is unwelcoming to others, including (but not limited to) poor hygiene, strong odor, crass and/or vulgar language or behavior, or excessive volume in common areas.
-Failure to properly control a service animal
If an individual violates this Code of Conduct, please report the violation to a retreat Safety Committee member. Any retreat committee member can also help you locate the Safety Committee members. The Safety Committee will endeavor to keep all reports confidential to the best of our ability.
